Lourdes Academy students in grades 2 - 8 recently completed the Fall NWEA (MAP) Measures of Academic Progress, exams.
Each year, students in grades 2 and 3, complete MAP assessments for reading and math and students in grades 4 - 8, complete assessments for reading, math, language usage, and science. Teachers have begun to use the results from these assessments in working with students to develop individual improvement goals and plans.
Individual student progress will be reviewed via the winter MAP testing session in December/January and again at the end of the school year in May.
Lourdes Academy Elementary and Middle School students consistently achieve above the national averages for all subject area assessments and demonstrate consistent academic growth in grades 2 - 8.
For information pertaining to your child's MAP results, please contact his/her teacher. For general information about the NWEA MAP assessments, go to: https://www.nwea.org
